We are now hiring for a full-time Licensed Early Childhood Teacher/Director to join our Preschool Expansion Team!
The Licensed Early Childhood Teacher/Director functions as a lead member of the teaching team working with four (4) years old children who will be transitioning to kindergarten next school year.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for ensuring compliance is maintained with all documentation and actions that are required by licensing agents: ISBE, National Association for the Education of Young Children, Department of Children and Family Services, and Metropolitan Family Services.
Responsible for working with Teacher Assistant and Program Aide to plan and provide activities which support children in their social emotional, cognitive, physical, and linguistic development.
This is a 43 week position and follows the Head Start/School District 200 calendar.
Bachelor’s Level Degree in Early Childhood Education
Type 04 required
ESL and Special Education certification required
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work with diverse groups.
