Allendale Association is a private, not-for-profit social service agency serving children and adolescents with moderate to profound emotional and behavioral disabilities. These youth and their families receive care and treatment through Allendale's residential treatment programs, day treatment special education schools or from our community based clinical programs and services. Allendale's communi...ty based programs include an outpatient counseling center, foster care licensing, training and support, independent living/transition support and mentoring services. The institution has proudly served troubled adolescents since its founding in 1897 by Edward "Cap" Bradley, a young Princeton graduate interested in the plight of urban youth and the poor conditions under which they lived.View a video about Allendale here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-sh1_k0VjQ
