The Paralegal assists attorneys in the Office of Legal Services of the Archdiocese of Chicago in general corporate, real estate and contract matters. The position requires 5 years of experience in corporate, real estate, contract, or general transactional matters.
Under the direct supervision of an Attorney, the Paralegal
Organizes and expedites the flow or work related to leases, licenses, amendments, extensions, etc; ensure timely attention to same
Under Attorney supervision, prepares variety of documents relating to leases, licenses and real estate transactions generally
Assists with corporate record-keeping, organization and compliance matters generally.
Assists with contract preparation
Assists with other matters (tax exempt status, wills and trusts, administrative filings) as needed
