Established community mental health center in Skokie, IL seeks a clinician to serve as a Full-Time Groups Coordinator. This is a 40 hour per week position that performs a variety of work involving program development, staff supervision, crisis management, community relations, and network/resource building responsibilities. The Groups Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and expanding the Outpatient Groups and Psycho-Social Rehabilitation programs, coordinating and expanding community outreach and support, developing and maintaining documentation procedures for all billable services related to groups, and providing direct service to clients. This position requires some flexibility with one’s work schedule and must be available to work during program hours and activities (currently Monday through Friday).
Full Clinical licensure is preferred, but not required for this position.

Must have minimum educational attainment of Master’s degree in field of Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Clinical Psychology from an accredited program.
Must have experience working in a clinical setting, providing direct services to clients.
Full clinical licensure (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, etc) is preferred but not required. Candidates who do not have full clinical licensure will be considered for this position.
Communicates well orally and in writing.
Has demonstrable experience running and managing therapeutic groups.
Initiates problem solving with regard to programmatic and agency-wide issues.
Models professional behavior for staff.
Must be able to lift 10 pounds.
The position is a 40 hour per week position.
