Under the direction of the Manager, Education, assists in executing all education programs for the AGD. Provides administrative as well as logistical support to ensure program success.
Assist the Manager, Education in securing speakers for webinars and annual meeting education. Track receipt of submitted Program Agreements and other speaker documents.
Manage the logistics for AGD education programs to include obtaining and coordinating session materials, handouts, audiovisual requirements, room sets and related program needs.
Coordinate with the Education Manager on the Course Manager program for Annual Meeting.
Recruit and assign course managers, create course manager materials, develop and implement training materials and provide support for the on-site training sessions at the annual meeting.
Assist with education program onsite logistics at the annual meeting, including but not limited to coordinating onsite program materials; ensuring accurate room set-ups; and resolving issues relating to other logistical matters as they arise.
Assist in developing the registration process for live and virtual education programs in conjunction with the Meetings Department, and IT Department to include set up and monitoring of registration site, creation of confirmation and other email notices, and customer service.
Three to five years administrative support experience with responsibility for coordinating multiple projects or events requiring significant customer service. Association and event planning experience preferred.
