Provides individual services to adult, substance-abusing men; assists clients in building recovery resources and develops individual Recovery Plans that help clients enhance self-efficacy, maintain abstinence in treatment and continue recovery post-treatment.
Requires ability to empathize with clients, focusing on and reinforcing positive strengths and behaviors, ability to work with diverse populations and cultural backgrounds.
Must be able to work flexible hours and be comfortable working independently in community settings.
Knowledge in substance abuse or related field, familiar with case management services and able to apply them to recovery management
NCRS or CADC certification
Computer literate, good communication skills and proficiency in reading and writing
