We are now hiring for a full-time Counselor/Social Worker 1 or 2 to join our DuPage Team!
The Adoption Preservation Social Worker/Counselor will provide office and home based clinical services to families who are struggling with adoption issues and severe emotional and behavioral difficulties in Kane, McHenry, and Lake Counties.
Essential Job Functions:
Completes assessments and provide individual, family, and group therapy services.
Provides specialized treatment services in the areas of attachment, grief, loss, and trauma.
Assists the Adoption Preservation team with groups and events for families with new adoptions.
Masters in Social Work, Counseling or related field required
AND LCPC or LCSW license required
Evening hours are required.
Strong clinical skills, knowledge of family systems, child and adolescent mental health, and adoption issues.
Familiarity with Medicaid Rule 132
