Key Areas of Responsibility: Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Transports clients and their families to and from SGA and other designated locations.
Picks up items and materials for SGA.
Transports all passengers courteously and respectfully.
Accurately tracks time taken per assignment for data entry.
Operates vehicle in a safe manner and observes all traffic laws.
Some evening availability maybe required.
Assist with socialization activities.
Implements procedures for the recruitment, enrollment & engagement of eligible families.
Responsible for the recruitment of psycho-educational workshops and group socialization.
Facilitates group socialization once a month and educational workshops twice a month.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications or Skills Required/Sought:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Must have an Illinois driver’s license for at least 5 years.
Must have a clean driving record and maintain.
Knowledge of Chicagoland streets and addresses.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Ability to lift 30 – 50 lbs.
Ability to display sensitivity and responsiveness to cultural differences present in the service population.
