Under the supervision of the Assistant Vice President, The Centennial Campaign is responsible for assisting the Senior Vice President, Legacies & Endowments with new and assigned donors to maximize donor’s charitable and volunteer involvement in JUF/JF and is responsible for a number of administrative and campaign functions to assist Senior Executive Staff.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists in special projects in support of the fundraising, outreach and administrative work of the Senior Vice President, Legacies & Endowments. Provides support (schedules appointments, arranges meetings, provides follow-up, enters and maintains varied information in the Donor Management System and other data bases).
Provides administrative and strategic support in the area of donor management, and the cultivation and solicitation of gifts from donors in the community for the Annual and Centennial campaigns for the Senior Vice President, Legacies & Endowments and Senior Executive Staff.
Maintains a strategic plan for donor research and prospect tracking, prepares donor and prospect profiles.
Assumes responsibility in the Legacies & Endowment, Centennial and Campaign departments as needed.
Observes in every respect the confidential nature of the organization’s operations.
Directly support JUF campaign integration on an ongoing basis in addition to mandatory campaign-related activities.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
College degree from an accredited institution.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and oral communication skills.
Fundraising experience as a professional is helpful.
Proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite of Products.
Must possess flexibility and excellent prioritization and organizational skills.
Works well under pressure and is able to implement and plan workload to meet all deadlines and time sensitive issues.
Knowledge of Jewish community, culture, heritage, traditions and Jewish Communal Services required.
