We are currently searching for a full-time Early Childhood Educator and a full-time Early Childhood Educator Floater to join our Learning and Wellness Center Team!
The Early Childhood Educators are responsible for planning and implementing curriculum used by classroom teachers in Pre-K classes.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:
Responsible for promoting the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of children by developing and implementing individualized weekly curriculum and lesson plans using Creative Curriculum.
Responsible for arranging and maintaining the physical environment of the classroom to complement the curriculum and to provide a safe, healthy environment.
Supervises and/or delegates responsibility to supervise all activities in which children participate, in the classroom, outdoors and off-site.
Conducts and/or oversees screening of all children within prescribed timeframes
Responsible for the planning and implementation of a minimum of semi-annual home visits and parent-teacher conferences.
Participates in teacher development opportunities.
Acts as an advocate for children and families.
Bachelor’s Level Degree in Early Childhood Education required
Infant Toddler Credential preferred
