Ballet Chicago, acclaimed pre-professional Balanchine ballet training center and Studio Company, seeks energetic and committed Development Associate to achieve annual fundraising and event goals; to execute donor solicitations, gift recording and maintain donor database; to plan and execute fundraising events; to assist in grant-writing and to provide committee and board administrative support. Reports to Executive Director with over-sight provided by strategic consultant. Works closely with Marketing Manager on aspects of donor relations and benefits to achieve contributed and earned revenue goals. Must be detail oriented and thorough, willing to follow direction and be calm under pressure. Development experience a plus, however, training available.
