Breaking Free, Inc. is a community-based agency in the Aurora, Il area that provides community counseling, substance abuse and mental health services and substance abuse and violence prevention programming for youth.
Under direct supervision, the Program Coordinator provides substance abuse prevention programs and education to children of various age groups, coordination of after school programming at a school site, and coordination of parent activities related to participants in the after school programs. Candidate will coordinate Elem/middle school after-school programs in the West Chicago area and facilitate youth skill building curriculums.
The candidate shall be available to work daytime and evenings Monday thru Friday.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in education, social work, psychology or related human services field preferred or equivalent life or work experience
Experience: Two years experience with prevention-related activities/ or life experience preferred, and experience with youth or children.
Supervisory experience and bilingual skills needed.
