1. Conduct weekly drug and/or alcohol screenings to promote the early identification of substance abusers and facilitate treatment referral for NNHSC patients.2. Conduct annual substance abuse evaluations and assessments on all patients enrolled in the EIS program.3. Provide substance abuse evaluations, assessments and screenings for referred patients.4. Develop individual treatment plans for each enrolled patient within 14 days of admission. Maintains an ongoing review of service plan and keeps up to date casenotes on each participant enrolled in the program.5. Conduct daily group treatment with identified substance abusing patients. Maintain a minimum caseload of 20 individual patients. Conducts outreach when appropriate to meet minimum caseload requirements.6. Provide individual, group and family counseling or significant others for each patient as needed.7. Refer patients for urinalysis and drug screening. Provide post detoxification support for patients; provide follow-up and monitoring of patients.
Requires Bachelor's Degree, Master's preferred.
Certified Alchol and other Drug Abuse Counselor (C.A.D.C.) also required.
