Functions as a member of the total health team under the direction of the Medical Director. Performs X-ray procedures and communicates pertinent information to nursing staff and providers as needed.
Adjusts X-ray equipment to correct setting for each examination position and instructs patients. Determines proper voltage current and desired exposure time for each radiograph. Must wear protective clothing.
Develops prepares and maintains records and films
Cleans and makes minor adjustments to equipmen
Maintains X-ray machine in good condition, cleaning when needed.
Maintains daily X-ray log and tracking system of all x-rays. Follows-up on any missing reports.
Adheres to established NNHSC policies & procedures.
Other related responsibilities.
Submit resume and cover letter to include desired rate of pay.
2 years of college and coursework in an accredited X-Ray Technology program is required.
Current Illinois license and CPR required. ASCP preferred.
