Coordinates and conducts the CDC High-Impact Prevention gender specific male Healthy Relationships group sessions. Responsible for providing intake services, counseling and case management services for adults and youth living with HIV/AIDS. Uses intensive outreach strategies to engage participants in services. Assists participants and families in developing crisis management plans. Provides crisis intervention services. Coordinates and links participants with needed services and community resources. Documents all services using program protocols.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Certification/License from an accredited college or university in psychology, counseling, social work, human services or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in the HIV, mental health or substance use field preferred.
Experience working with multi-ethnic populations preferred.
Complete Healthy Relationships Training.
Must have daily use of a car, current insurance, valid driver’s license, and a driving record acceptable to agency insurance carrier.
Flexibility to work on weekends, evenings, holidays during emergencies or when activities and events require it.
