Currently, we are recruiting for the following positions:
Employment Program - Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Program
WIOA Youth Assistant
The WIOA Youth Program Assistant will fill a crucial role by serving out-of-school youth ages 16-24 in need of employment services. Largely, the member will assist clients one-on-one in building the skills necessary to find and secure employment and other vocational opportunities. These activities include tutoring, mentoring, and providing employment assistance such as goal setting, resume writing, and interviewing skills. Additionally, the member will lead WIOA outreach efforts to promote program services, introduce the program to potential clients, and strengthen community partnerships with other organizations. The member’s service will directly support out-of-school youth, many with significant barriers to employment, in giving them the tools and support needed to succeed professionally and academically.

September 2017 - August 2018
Full time (37-40 hours/week)
