The Gift Processing Specialist is responsible for processing, recording, and acknowledging all donor charitable contributions. The primary goal of this role is to provide administrative support to regional offices in cultivating donors by effectively managing information in NPH USA’s CRM (Salesforce.com). To accomplish this goal, the role needs to provide accurate, complete, and timely communications to donors when receiving and acknowledging their contributions.
Duties & Responsibilities
Process, record, and reconcile donor charitable contributions
Draft and mail donor acknowledgements (i.e. tax receipts)
Manage donor information in CRM database / Intranet Portal
Provide customer service on incoming donors requests
Collaborate in the execution of month-end close process
Provide on-site event support at major events (travel involved)
Administer mobile/event management platforms (i.e. Greater Giving)
Record all donor communication activity in CRM database
Provide administrative support for the International Travel Program
Participate in ad-hoc projects as requested
Skills & Qualifications
College degree or equivalent training
Previous experience in accounts receivable role preferred
Strong communication skills with previous customer service experience
Detailed-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Ability to work independently and multi-task to thoroughly complete concurrent projects
Experience working with Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe PDF
Ability to learn new systems required, experience with Salesforce.com preferred
Availability to travel within the U.S. (required)
