Ray Graham Association has an immediate opening for a Payroll Coordinator to join our dynamic Finance Team. The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for administering all aspects of the company's payroll function, which includes, but is not limited to, administrative duties involving the maintenance of payroll systems, internal controls, audits and records, day-to-day payroll processing operations and related accounting entries within an automated systems. The Payroll Coordinator audits submitted timecards and payroll entries for accuracy and required approvals, providing guidance to managers and team members on how best to make corrections or avoid errors.
RESPONSIBILITIES: •Full cycle bi-weekly payroll processing payroll •Accurately calculate and complete entry for additional compensation such as stipends, adjustments, etc. •Processes voluntary and involuntary deductions such as federal and state tax levies, child support and creditor garnishments as regulated by federal and state law. •Research, investigate and resolve problems, corrections and questions relative to payroll. •Performs routine data integrity checks on payroll data as required. •Prepares payroll related reports and metrics, as requested. •Maintain an organized filing system ensuring all documentation is filed in a timely manner. •Process and administer year end payroll reconciliations W-2s. •Maintain benefit enrollment data in payroll. •Administers all 403(b) enrollments and changes in payroll. •Utilizes the payroll system to maintain accurate vacation/sick leave balances. •Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential. •Keeps current in their knowledge of the payroll processing systems as updates occur •Researches and resolves questions and issues from managers and directors as they relate to the processing of payroll information. •Provides excellent service to our team members with payroll questions. •5 years' experience in Payroll Specialist or related role;
•Strong knowledge of Paylocity including the time and attendance module; •Payroll reporting experience;
•Enjoy working in a fast paced team environment;
•HS Diploma or equivalent required, Associates or Bachelor Degree preferred; and
•Prior experience working in non-profit environment beneficial.
