We are currently searching for a full-time Center Director to join our team!
The Center Director Supports Site Operations Manager and Program Supervisors under span of control, managing all aspects of center administrative support and assigned programs. Develop new programming addressing community need and with new funding opportunities. Lead the community Advisory Board and builds strategic alliances in the community. Provide direction and consultation to the site leadership team and to staff. Work collaboratively with department and program leadership and with diverse staff and service population.
Under the general supervision of the Executive Director.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:
Strategic leader of the community advisory board. Develop local community support and local fund raising strategies. Provide leadership in working with community agencies, organizations, and institutions as appropriate to carry out agency and program goals. Ensure appropriate integration of multi-service, multi-disciplinary, and/or agency-wide systems approach to program(s).
Responsible for the development and delivery of programs in accordance with agency mission, policies, procedures, program plan and outcomes. Responsible for the writing of program, annual, and long-range plans. Write public grants as requested.
Execute strategic growth plans, which includes maintaining quality and quantity of services. Keep abreast of client service needs, and participates in planning.
Ensure compliance with various funding agencies’ performance standards and contractual agreements. Monitor program(s) to assure programmatic reporting and fiscal compliance of contracts, annual, and long-range plans. Provide programmatic input in fundraising strategies. Act as the local liaison to funders, as appropriate.
Design program plans in collaboration and consultation with department and program leadership. Provide leadership for effective program implementation. Keeps all parties advised of project execution and any delays or barriers to implementation.
Develop, adjust and report on key performance indicators (KPI) to ensure measurement in support of continuous improvement. Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives, in accordance with agency quality improvement process.
Recommend, develop, and monitor all program and center budgets. Responsible for the fiscal management of the center, including annual revenue and expense budget development. Develop cost controls to ensure and maintain a balanced budget. Identify solutions to meet funding gaps and ensure timely billing.
Supervise and provide consultation to assigned Site Operation Manager. Responsible for space and facility as well as local center support services. Guide site leadership team and center-wide decision making.
Responsible for all personnel matters within own program, including hiring, assigning, and terminating of staff. Foster leadership potential of program staff. Develop staff goals and performance expectations and administer staff performance evaluations. Develop and implement staff development and training plans. Ensure professional licensing and credentials of staff are compliant with program and Agency requirements.
Responsible for ensuring that recordkeeping and reporting systems are maintained in an up to date and accurate manner, and consistent with agency standards. Ensure that center achieves and maintains compliance with all funding source requirements and completes all program related reporting as required.
Responsible for management of center property and facility. Ensure facility complies with all applicable city and state licensing standards and building codes. Ensure maintenance concerns are addressed. Adhere to agency safety, risk management, and incident reporting procedures. Make maximum use of property to meet needs of service population and community.
Work effectively with diverse staff and service population.
Seven years post-masters experience in social services with increasing levels of administrative and supervisory responsibility.
May require clinical license as defined by program requirements.
Demonstrated ability to work in teams.
Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a complex environment.
Mobility for travel.
Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and groups.
