Develop and execute annual fundraising plans
Secure financial support from individuals, foundations and corporations
Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with major donors
Create and execute a strategy for building and sustaining a strong individual donor base
Cultivate relationships and develop strategic partnerships with national companies and organizations to advance programs and fundraising
Identify opportunities for and oversee special events
Develop and track proposals and reports for all foundation and corporate fundraising
Work closely with the Superintendent, Council of Administration, and staff to advance the organization’s overall goals
Work closely with the Superintendent and Athletic Director to formalize, execute and advance an annual giving program
Cultivate and develop long-term relationships with alumni and community leaders
Oversee biannual Alumni publications
Work closely with the Development Team and Athletic Director to plan and execute key special events
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proven ability to meet and exceed goals • Demonstrated success cultivating relationships, thinking strategically and delivering compelling proposals to potential funders • A highly collaborative style; positive attitude; strong work ethic; attention to detail; and unquestioned reputation for honesty and integrity • Commitment to the organization’s mission and ideals • One or more years of nonprofit fundraising experience desired • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
