We are now hiring for a full-time Domestic Violence Mental Health Therapist to join our Calumet Team!
Essential Job Functions:
Completes a comprehensive, in-depth assessments and screening tools related to trauma exposure, DV, and behavior health needs.
Completes individual treatment planning that is goal directed and led by the individual program client as well as ongoing safety planning.
Provides a full-range of case management, counseling, advocacy, educational and related services.
Provides evidence-based clinical interventions such as TF-CBT, CPP, and ARC.
Learns and utilizes agency and community resources.
Assesses community conditions affecting clients to identify resource gaps and problems.
Supports completion of victim compensation claims, recommends financial assistance for clients and supports sign-up with other eligible income benefits.
Provides group services as indicated by program need.
Be responsible for meeting contractual requirements such as 24 hour coverage rotation.
Represents and interprets programs of agency in community.
May serve on regional or agency-wide committees.
Meets agency expectations for quantity of direct services.
Complies with agency recordkeeping expectations.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Works effectively with diverse staff and service population.
Masters’ Degree in Social Work or Counseling or Psychology or other related field from an accredited college or university
Two years related post-Masters experience.
Must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor
40 hour Domestic Violence Trained.
Requires mobility to work with a community-based caseload and home-based services.
Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and groups.
