The campus will be financially self-sustaining—with income from its for-profit elements supplementing the financial needs of the not-for-profit elements—and will serve as a national model for community development across the country.
With the development of Focal Point Chicago, Saint Anthony Hospital will move into its new home site to continue and expand upon the work of improving the health and wellness of families across Chicagoland by providing medical care, social services, and community outreach to the residents of Little Village, North Lawndale, Pilsen, Brighton Park, Back of the Yards, McKinley Park, Archer Heights, and Chicago Lawn as well as suburban Cicero and Berwyn.
Major Gifts Officer (MGO) will secure funds for Focal Point Chicago by managing a portfolio of 80-100 assigned, qualified donors who are capable of making significant financial gifts. The MGO works toward building strong relationships to ensure on-going involvement and upgraded support beyond the Campaign.
Senior Major Gifts Officer (SMGOs) will have demonstrated experience managing and closing $500K+ gifts and will be closing even larger gifts at the outset.
Both MGOs will be required to created tailored cultivation strategies and solicitation plans, develop communication and marketing approaches and also create impact reports
Ability to qualify donor portfolio that represents the highest giving potential to the organization.
Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years training after high school
7 years or more experience in a professional fundraising role
Demonstrated experience of closing major gifts valued at 50K and up
Effectively partner with peers, subordinates, leadership volunteers and management to create a positive, constructive and productive team environment while safeguarding the mission, goals and values of the organization.
