Seeking a motivated and innovative individual to join our Life Support Program team to provide administrative and customer support for initiatives and programs. Some duties include:
Coordinating and performing administrative functions for the team, including taking minutes, drafting correspondence, and database and division calendar maintenance.
Coordinating all assigned committee, section, and staff meetings, including scheduling, travel and meeting arrangements, conference calls/webinars, follow-up with meeting participants, and compilation of agenda books and meeting materials. Coordinate packing and shipping of medical equipment and materials as needed.
Cross-train in the business processes for all Life Support programs and provide customer support for all programs, including the NRP Learning Management System. Continuously analyze customer queries to suggest and implement process improvements that positively impact the customer’s experience and increase productivity and service delivery. Assist in onboarding of new staff.
Assist in the development, production, and distribution of Life Support manuals, multimedia, courses, and other educational materials and products. Develop and maintain editorial Web sites for designated projects.
Serve as SharePoint champion and the lead in designing and maintaining assigned collaboration sites.
Serve as a Superuser for the accounting software and assist in developing, entering and monitoring assigned budgets and forecasts. Reconcile all division expenditures, including credit card statements, and investigate discrepancies. Track income and expenses for identified initiatives. Process staff and committee expense reports. Maintain budget files.
Qualified candidates will possess:
High school graduate or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in communication, adult education, or related field preferred.
One to two years general administrative experience required, preferably including meeting coordination, budget tracking, and/or Web site maintenance.
Exceptional interpersonal, writing, and organizational skills required.
Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team, be detail-oriented, and able to work effectively under time constraints.
Strong technical acumen with proficiency in MS Office required as well as the ability to learn new technologies; experience with budgeting or Web maintenance (ie, SharePoint) software strongly preferred.
Some overtime and weekend work required.
