The Center for Law and Social Work (CLSW) is seeking a dynamic Program Director to launch its new program, Porchlight Counseling Services (PCS). PCS is an established nonprofit organization that is being integrated with CLSW in a new chapter of its life. It is an innovative outreach/therapy program to address sexual assault on college campus. This city-wide program will consider only candidates with work experience in women's issues and sexual assault.
The Program Director will oversee the coordination and administration of the program including planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling program activities. The Program Director will work closely with the Executive Director to achieve strategic, measurable program growth in year one.
Partner and cultivate relationships with local colleges and universities
Develop publicity materials, online content and maintain public relations for the program
Conduct outreach activities to raise awareness of sexual assault on college campuses
Seek out and cultivate community resources (parents, churches, student groups) which are needed to support the program
Keeping current on new practices, developments in the sexual assault and higher education industry
Dynamic, outgoing character and a self-starter
Work experience in women's issues and particularly sexual assault
Fundraising experience or motivated to learn
Computer and social media skills
Masters Degree in related field
Masters in Social Services, Psychology, or related field
At least two years of work experience in women's issues or sexual assault
Computer and social media skills is a must
Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
