Lions Clubs International has seen tremendous growth in our membership over the last 8 years bringing our membership base to 1.4+ million members. Due to this fact, we have decided to create a Global Service Team to further increase our service impact! We are in need of 4 Regional Specialists for a newly created team that will be integral in working with local Lions to educate and establish our service framework estimated to touch 200 million people by 2021.
HERE IS HOW YOU’LL MAKE YOUR IMPACT!
Develops quarterly progress reports and collaborates with resource support coordinator to provide insights to leaders.
Works with Global Membership Team to increase member satisfaction as related to the quality and outcomes of club service projects.
Promotes and monitors the uptake of new service initiatives and the usage of service resources.
Reviews service development grants. Tracks progress towards goals.
Assists with the coordination of area forum GST events, convention, and annual meetings with leaders.
Assists in the planning and execution of service seminars and hands-on service events at regional forum.
Promotes LCIF grant opportunities and LCI project resources that align with the service framework and constitutional area service goals.
Works with department manager/team leader to review service reports and collaborates with resource support Coordinator to provide insights to GST Leaders.
Communicates regularly with area leaders on identifying challenges, opportunities, and successes through MD and district GST coordinators.
Ensures teams are working collaboratively. Works with GST Leaders/Coordinators to hold them accountable for their plans. Including communicating to GST Area Leaders, MD GST coordinators and District GST coordinators, regarding their quarterly GST activity reports and worldwide report days.
Tracks and follows up on service goal submissions and approvals. Reviews the constitutional area’s progress towards year-end service goals and develops a monthly cumulative report analysis report on highlights, lowlights, and opportunities available. Keep up to date with Service trends.
Manages area GST budget for international leaders, initiatives and activities.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
European or Pacific-Asian language speaking ability a nice to have
