Responsible for the development and leadership of the comprehensive development program with the priority of building a portfolio to build and maintain relationships with key agency donors. Provides leadership and oversight to the development department staff to increase fundraising revenue and capacity of the agency. Responsible for public relations, marketing, volunteer and training activities of the agency. Works closely with agency staff, board members, and volunteers in spearheading corporate solicitation and sponsorship, foundation relations, special events, annual events, and individual giving.
Bachelor's Degree required, masters preferred. Five+ years experience with a proven track record in coporate/individual fundraising. 3+ years experience in public relations/marketing. 10+ years experience with staff management. Experience working with a board of directors at the committee level. High level of computer proficiency with Word, Excel, Power Point, and website management. Donor database experience required.
