Function:The Operations Associate primarily performs administrative and support tasks related to the functionality of the organization. This position focuses on the financial, office, human resource, and event needs of the organization. The position is supervised by the Operations Director and provides support to the Executive Director, Development Manager, and Communications Manager.
Provide financial support to the Operations Director - documenting revenue and expenses, assisting with the annual audit, and generating financial documents.
Record deposits, donations, and expenditures in eTapestry and Quickbooks.
Assist with personnel and benefits management.
Support the hiring, onboarding, and offboarding of staff
Support the administration and management of employee benefits.
Support coordination of staff events and training.
Assist with researching and writing operating procedures, as well as creating and maintaining processes and systems.
Act as a resource for employees, interns, and volunteers regarding supplies and use of office equipment, including ordering supplies.
Support the management of all information technology, specifically working with our technology consultant to ensure that all computer systems are functioning properly.
Special Event & Projects
Assist with planning and execution of special events, specifically CAASE’s Fall Fundraiser, Race for CAASE, #GivingTuesday and more.
Assist Development Manager with data management as relates to fundraising.
Assist Development Manager with planning and execution of donor cultivation activities.
Staff CAASE’s Young Professionals Board meetings, and assist with the activities for this, and other, volunteers groups.
Manage volunteer inquiries. Assign volunteer tasks and solicit volunteer assistance as needed.
Status:Full Time. Exempt.
Reports to: Operations Director
Bachelor's Degree (business, accounting, or HR preferred), orhigh school diploma with at least three years of previous experience maintaining operations in an office setting.
Exceptional organization skills required.
Ability to analyze and synthesize data and present it clearly.
Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suite required, and ability to learn new systems.
Must be organized and able to understand and prioritize multiple tasks, as well as able to work independently and with various teams of colleagues.
Strong attention to detail required.
Prior experience organizing fundraisers and managing databases.
