This position is responsible for the leadership, operations, direction and management of all assigned programs. This includes co-liaison to funding source, risk management, outcome tracking and program improvement, financial management, care coordination and ensure compliance with funder, accreditation and agency policy and practices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Administer, lead, direct, assist with the grant application process, grant renewals and supervise all aspects of the assigned programs: develop new services and areas of responsibility; ensure proper staffing of programs with competent, adequately trained and well-supervised employees; meeting all elements of all program plans/contracts and related funder/accrediting body rules and procedures; liaison with all appropriate funding bodies to monitor contract utilization and remedy potential conflicts; develop linkages with local service providers through networking efforts; develop resources for youth (including alternative living arrangements) in the service area; initiate linkages with local service providers in the counties for future program expansion; assist the Executive Vice President with annual budget development; primary responsibility for managing the program budgets.
Be familiar with funding sources: (HUD-RWC, HUD-IP, IDHS-HY, HHS-TLP, DCFS-YHAP, DCFS-NORMAN HOUSING, CDBG, ESG)
Provide all forms of leadership, supervision, direction, training and role modeling to all staff of the programs, including the developing and leading of staff meetings and supervision.
Hold primary responsibility for the full implementation of all rules, policies, procedures of Aunt Martha’s and all applicable funders and accrediting bodies.
Responsible for the placement of youth in alternative living arrangements and foster care homes.
Day-to-day responsibility for the timely and correct submission of all staff paperwork and documentation (i.e. timesheets, HMIS, Quarterly funder reports, CIS paperwork, UR/QA, progress notes, treatment plans, receipts, vouchers, etc.). Supervise all budget expenditures and revenues; develop and manage the programs’ budgets.
Ensure that the programs are in compliance with all program objectives, systems, policies, procedures, directives and contractual agreements as indicated by supervisors, contracts (i.e. landlords and hotels), training personnel and agency policies and procedures.
Be on 24-hour call for any and all assistance to the program; respond to all calls and requests for assistance in a timely and proper manner according to the policies and procedures of Aunt Martha’s and the program.
Engage in all offered training, consultations and supervisions made available. Fully and professionally respond to and implement directives and advice offered by all supervisory and training personnel, as we as professionally offered feedback from coworkers.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Master’s degree in human services or related field and five years related experience with children and youth, and a minimum of two years supervisory/management experience.
Excellent writing skills.
Computer literacy and ability to utilize various software, word processing and spreadsheet programs.
Experience in developing and engaging in individual, group and family therapies is preferred
Experience working with aggressive youth is preferred
Clear driving record
Reliable vehicle to report to work and transport clients.
Strong desire to work with youth in the human services arena.
LCSW or LCPC preferred for supervision purposes.
Telecommuting is allowed.
