The Cradle is in search for a dedicated and energetic Corporate Giving & Events Manager to join the team.
Position Overview: Reporting to the Vice President of Development & Marketing, the Corporate Giving & Events Manager is responsible the strategic advancement of corporate partners and executing the agency’s events.
Maintain and manage the event budget
Develop & execute all logistics of fundraising, donor cultivation, and agency wide events.
Develop and manage event volunteer committees
Maintain vendor relationships
Obtain corporate and individual support for the agency
Cultivate current and potential corporate relationships
Requirements: The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of experience planning and executing small and large scale fundraising, donor cultivation, and family focused events. The successful candidate will be a professional who has boundless energy and enthusiasm as well as a strong work ethic. This position requires someone who thrives on challenges, works well under pressure, is a good communicator, self-motivated team player, well organized and an expert at multi-tasking. The successful candidate will be a quick learner and able to analyze data quickly and comprehensively, make strategic plans and recommendations, work collaboratively as a team member with diverse groups of volunteers and colleagues, and can be decisive, confident and gracious. The successful candidate will have good judgment and grasp standard office technologies easily. The person in this position will have good connections in the corporate community, and must be a proactive and effective networker. 2+ years of corporate donor experience a must. Raiser’s Edge experience a plus. Bachelor’s degree required.
