We are seeking a qualified, motivated, and flexible candidate to perform crisis assessments and case management services for youth and families who are experiencing a mental health crisis as part of the Screening Assessment and Support Services (SASS) program.
This position requires a commitment to work both day time and on-call hours. Day time hours will consist of 10 hours per week (2 five hour shifts) between the hours of 9am and 8pm Monday-Friday. Workers are also expected to cover a minimum of 2 on-call shifts a week. On-call hours include weekday evenings 7pm-11:59pm or 12am-8am, along with all day Saturdays and Sundays which is broken up into 3 eight hour shifts.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are strongly preferred.
Pay range from $17 to $22 per hour for day shifts and for $37-$50 per hour for on-call shifts dependent on experience, education, and skills.
The candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work or another related field.
Must have reliable transportation as there is much travel involved in these positions as this position requires travel throughout Kane and Kendall County. Must be a good team player, have the ability to work with people from very diverse backgrounds, be flexible, detailed oriented, and have a positive attitude.
Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen and provide proof of vehicle insurance that provides the following coverage: $100,000 Injury or death of one person in an accident; $300,000 Injury or death of more than one person in an accident; $100,000 damage to property of another person.
