The YWCA of Metropolitan Chicago is seeking a BILINGUAL CLINICAL PROGRAM SPECIALIST, based at our RISE Children’s Center, located at 820 W Jackson Blvd., Chicago. This position reports to the Coordinator of the RISE Children’s Clinical Program. This is an exempt, full-time position; salary commensurate with experience.
Conducting phone screenings, scheduling and completion of intake appointments with adults and children/guardians requesting counseling services or program information
Providing crisis intervention and individual, family and group counseling to sexual abuse/assault survivors, and to their non-offending partners/guardians and/or significant others
Collecting member demographic and outcomes data and entering information into database systems. Organize client files and statistical records
Maintaining a small client caseload
Master’s Degree in social work, counseling, or art therapy
Fluency to speak/read/write in Spanish
Minimum of one year of related work experience in social services
Availability to work Monday – Friday, flexible schedule to include some evenings
Skills in creativity, innovation and ease in engaging with children and families in crisis
Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills
Strong organizational skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
Ability to work independently
Intermediate proficiency with MS Office (Excel) and Outlook
