We are now hiring for a full-time Residential Monitor (Overnight) to join our Southeast Team!
Essential Job Functions:
Works within a Community Integrated Living Arrangement (CILA) program which is a small residential facility providing 24/7 coverage for 8 mentally ill adults.
Works overnight shift between 11 pm-7 am
Program utilizes a recovery model and helps clients work towards independent living.
Works within contract, grant, and program requirements including meeting timelines and reporting requirements.
Works collaboratively with community resources. Develops a knowledge of resources and helps clients to utilize them.
Works effectively with diverse staff and service population.
Subsequent to consultation with supervisor, handles emergency and crisis situations within target population.
Provides timely documentation of client services.
Prepares and organizes treatment information for audits.
Reports building maintenance service needs to landlords and/or real estate agencies.
Schedules annual inspections with the Fire Department.
Assists clients with meal planning and preparation, housekeeping, and personal grooming.
Provides supervision in arts and crafts, sewing, exercise, or gardening.
Engages clients in social activities and serves as an escort on field trips as needed.
Documents client incidents and reports client issues and concerns to supervisor.
Is on-call as needed for emergency situations, as well as provides coverage for other Residential Monitors as needed due to sick leave and vacations.
May be required to do heavy lifting and other physical activities to assist clients.
High School diploma or equivalent and three (3) years related work experience.
Ability to work well with physically and/or mentally disabled individuals.
Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and groups.
Some direct service experience preferred.
Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
