The Children's Advocacy Center of North and Northwest Cook County, located in Hoffman Estates, provides direct services for children who have experienced sexual abuse or severe physical abuse, and their non-offending parents and family members. The Bilingual Counselor will provide crisis intervention and individual, family and group therapy services for Latino children and families; develop and maintain relationships with community resources; and assist the agency's Advocates in providing resources for children and families in need. This is a full-time position and requires some evening and/or Saturday hours to meet the needs of children and families. The position will be based at the Center's Streamwood location.
MSW, MA in Counseling Psychology, or similar degree, licensed or license eligible preferred; experienced in assessment and evidence based, trauma informed treatment of child survivors of abuse and/or family violence; fluent in English and Spanish

The Children's Advocacy Center of North and Northwest Cook County (CAC) is a not-for-profit organization established in 1989 to serve child victims of sexual abuse, and their non-offending family members. The Center serves children and families in 38 communities in North and Northwest Suburban Cook County. CAC works with local law enforcement agencies, DCFS, the State's Attorney's Office, and medical and mental health professionals to provide a comprehensive, coordinated multidisciplinary response to reports of child abuse.
