The Mentor works with participants in the BEST Kids Program. Serves as liaison between youth, school staff, and parents. The Mentor is responsible for establishing a meaningful relationship with youth while providing homework help and tutoring to elementary school students. The Mentor will assist in ensuring successful program completion. The Mentor will serve as an energetic, enthusiastic leader who promotes interactive learnings and facilitates activities in the core area of academic achievement and in activities designed to motivate and engage participants.
Preferred Requirements: Associate’s degree. Experience in mentoring and working with at risk youth.
Minimum Requirements: Currently attending an accredited college or university. Experience with at risk youth.
