Responsible for transporting homeless clients of the Mobile Outreach Program to shelters;
Responsibly and safely drives the Agency van and follows all traffic and safety laws and regulations as well as Agency policies and procedures;
Works collaboratively with other program staff, shelters, and external partners to provide services for clients;
Responsible for completing all required documentation in accordance with agency/programmatic policies and procedures, professional standards, and external requirements of all relevant regulatory, licensing or accrediting bodies;
Responsible for maintaining up-to-date and accurate departmental files and databases, as required by agency/programmatic policies and procedures, professional standards, and external requirements of all relevant regulatory, licensing or accrediting bodies;
Accurately records travel log to record areas traveled to, travel time, and work hours;
Ensures that agency vans are kept clean at all times by washing both the inside and outside of the vehicle;
Promptly reports any accident, injury(ies),damage of vehicles or safety concerns to the supervisor;
Knows and complies with the laws and regulations relevant to the position and services;
Must maintain a flexible schedule to work evenings, weekends, holidays and/or fill in for Mobile Outreach Workers, as
Hours: 2 Part Time positions and 1 Full Time position available. Please specify which position you are interested in.
Preferred Requirements: Associate’s degree in Social Sciences. Three plus years of experience working with the homeless population.
Minimum Requirements: High School diploma. One to two years of experience with working with the homeless population.
Other Requirements: Driver’s license, reliable transportation.
