RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL: Responsible for implementing recruitment strategies for Workforce Development initiatives. This includes, but is not limited to, administering aspects of the intake process: program presentations, selection, interviews, coordination of application materials. Also, responsible for managing the General Intake Line for Goodwill Programs and providing information and guidance to Goodwill stakeholders including potential program participants, employers, internal customers and other external entities.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES: 1. Work collaboratively with all Goodwill operating units, including TalentBridge and the Workforce Connection Centers to provide quality information and customer service for individuals desiring services. 2. Provide excellent customer service to anyone contacting Goodwill and providing information and resources to them as needed. 3. Review applicant files to determine program eligibility and respond to telephone and electronic inquires about programs at Goodwill. 4. Conduct orientations to familiarize new employees with the Workforce Development programs. 5. Support new candidate recruiting, screening, and assessment for Workforce Development programs. 6. Interview Workforce Development program applicants and assess their fit for appropriate programs. 7. Manage the assignment process for individuals entering programs and services. This includes gathering and providing information regarding the pre-employment drug test; criminal background data; initial program training sessions; work schedule; and transportation services. 8. Assist individuals with building admissions portfolio and referring to other resources as needed. 9. Maintain accurate records across multiple systems to document sufficient support. 10. Effectively manage multiple program activities simultaneously. 11. Support other Mission related activities/projects. 12. Maintain safe and orderly work environments. 13. Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS: 1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Human Resources, Human Services, or related field. 2. A minimum of two years of experience in a professional environment where core competencies listed above have been developed. 3. Ability to travel to multiple locations. 4. Previous Human Resources, Social Services or Customer Service experience preferred.

Proficiency using Microsoft Office Systems (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and ability to learn and effectively use various workforce development information systems. 7. Demonstrated ability to think critically and problem solve in a fast-paced, changing environment. 8. Ability to take direction and apply concepts across multiple tasks and projects. Taking ownership of program activities will be expected. 9. Consistently produce high quality work with particular attention to details, and contribute to continuous process improvement to maximize program outcomes. 10. Possess knowledge of customer relationship management (both job seeker and employer customers) and represent Goodwill in a favorable and professional manner. 11. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills; Ability to have professional, yet pointed conversations with individuals to ensure proper alignment with programs and services. 12. Willingness to work collaboratively and be flexible as priorities may change frequently. 13. Ability to work effectively within a team oriented, professional environment. 14. Maintain a professional level of confidentiality in all work-related activities. 15. Experience in using effective communication tools and techniques to generate awareness and interest in programs and services.
