The Grants & Operations associate writes, edits, developments partnerships, (acquires letters from partners), budgets development, completes forms, completes research on social determinants/demographic information, etc.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepares and submits funding applications/proposals to local, state and federal government agencies.
Writes, edits, develops partnerships, (acquires letters from partners), budgets development, completes forms, completes research on social determinants/demographic information, etc.
Researches, writes, and develops grant re-applications for renewals of funding opportunities.
Works with various governmental agencies as related to contracts, assists in prepares/executes contracts and helps maintain contract files.
Assists in preparing final government proposal packages for mailing and or electronic submission.
Organizes the contract filing system.
Assists in following up with funding notification and related information.
Bachelor’s level degree, two years of related experience preferred.
Sensitivity to cultural diversity is required.
Must have excellent writing skills.
Must have excellent communication skills and demonstrate excellent critical thinking skills.
Must demonstrate innovation, initiative, and the ability to work independently when needed.
