We are seeking a Project Recruiter who exhibits this same type of creativity and passion in all aspects of the work they perform at SOS Children’s Villages Illinois. The Project Recruiter is a temporary six to nine month part-time position, and is responsible for individual and community outreach and engagement as primary drivers for recruiting qualified professional Foster Parents for the agency.
Aligned with our recruitment strategy, the Foster Parent Project Recruiter will ensure that qualified and interested candidates are presented for hire and develop a strong pipeline of future candidates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Understand, embrace, and promote the SOS Children’s Villages of Illinois (SOSCVI) model of care and possess the ability to represent SOSCVI in a professional manner to interested parties, prospective Foster Parents, the general public, and guests.
Be aware of the policies and philosophy as outlined in the SOSCVI Foster Parent Manual and work within those guidelines.
Publicize Foster Parent position openings via indirect and direct methods including advertisements, word-of-mouth recruitment, via phone, and in-person outreach. Primary focus is on referrals within an assigned geographical area or market channel. Example organizations include churches, temples, and other faith-based organizations, schools, universities, community organizations, and daycares.
Explore new relationships and track down leads on potential connections and synergies for interested audiences. Develop and maintain contacts, and ensure that every visit is documented with attendance and outcome.
Maintain a record of all candidates, sources, encounters, outcomes, and other relevant analytics. Provide written reports as required. Direct all candidates to applicant tracking system.
Comply with all SOS policies, state, federal, county and city laws, rules and regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
