This position provides administrative and secretarial support to the Executive Director. Responsibilities include internal and external communications, scheduling, coordination of Sertoma Centre Board meetings and communications, developing and maintaining filing systems, taking meeting minutes, scheduling, handling phone calls as well as other administrative and support functions needed to support the Executive Director and administration of the agency.
This position is also the coordinator for the Advancement Department's software, Donor Perfect, entering data and gifts as well as generating thank you letters and reports. This position functions as the coordinator for implementation and maintenance of the agency's electronic document retention system, DocuWare, and the point of entry for selected departments of the agency.
QUALIFICATIONS: * High school diploma (related certification and/or business college courses preferred). * Minimum of three years relevant full-time work experience. * Excellent organizational skills; ability to prioritize and do multiple tasks. * Strong customer service and telephone skills. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality. * Advanced proficiency in the use of computers, software applications, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. * Good typing skills with minimum of 60 wpm accurately. * Professional and well-groomed appearance.
