Develops and implements curriculum that emphasizes technical skills for youth workers including but not limited to web applications and coding computers.
Ensures curriculum is easily digestible for introductory learners and presents lessons in a comprehensive manner using visual and audio tools to facilitate learning.
Works with outside agencies to conduct multi-agency technical competition.
Reports complaints from host sites and/or youth workers to Project Coordinator.
Facilitates soft skills training to youth workers.
Responsible for maintaining, updating and submitting routine and ad-hoc reports, as necessary.
Maintains up-to-date and accurate client files and databases, as required by agency/programmatic policies and procedures, professional standards, and external requirements of all relevant regulatory, licensing or accrediting bodies in the course of performing job expectations.
Ability to work evening and weekends.
Preferred Requirements: Bachelor’s degree. Two years of experience providing training and working with youth. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience working with people of different cultural, ethnic and economic backgrounds and at-risk youth.
Minimum Requirements: Associate’s degree. One year of experience working with at-risk youth. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
