Ensures youth workers are completing their job requirements by visiting host sites and maintain working relationship with sites.
Provides guidance and support for youth workers while reinforcing the development of skills and knowledge that youth gain through program participation.
Collects time sheets from host sites and verifies that youth workers are signing in and out daily and working their prescribed hours.
Reports complaints from host sits and/or youth workers to Project Coordinator.
Facilitates soft skills training to youth workers.
Mentors youth one on one when necessary.
Attends weekly supervision/update meetings with Department staff.
Hours: Temporary Position 35 hours per week
Preferred Requirements: Associate’s degree. Two years of experience working with people of diverse cultural, ethnic and economic backgrounds. Ability to work with at-risk youth. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Minimum Requirements: High School diploma with some college credits. One year of experience working with at-risk youth in a mentoring capacity.
