Under the direct supervision of the Vice President of Donor-Advised Programs, to assist in the enhancement and implementation of programs to increase the quality and quantity of Jewish philanthropy.
Perform due diligence on organizations recommended by donors with donor advised funds and supporting foundations.
Promote and market donor advised funds to prospects including planning marketing for the year, developing and drafting marketing collateral including ads, brochures, and letters, working with lay leaders to develop prospects.
Develop and maintain relationships with donors to assist them in their philanthropy and further their charitable interests.
Assist in the implementation of educational programs for donors.
Directly support JUF campaign on an ongoing basis in addition to mandatory campaign-related activities.
Research areas of philanthropic interests for donors as requested.
Additional duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree in related area.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
Detail oriented; ability to multitask and work independently as well as collaboratively.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, operate with discretion and use outstanding judgment.
Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite applications.
Knowledge of Jewish community, culture, heritage and traditions and Jewish Communal Services.
