A CNA works directly with the individuals served by Ray Graham. The CNA provides the supports and services the individuals need to achieve their goals and dreams in life. The CNA is the front line professional who knows the individuals needs and wants first hand, has the responsibility to assist the individual communicate their desires, to empower them to speak for themselves, and assist them with living. The CNA supports the person in all activities of daily living as needed, such as bathing, toileting, dressing and grooming. The CNA works with the team in their home and with the individuals to provide new and interesting life experiences.
Candidate must possess a HS Diploma or GED. Prefer an individual w/ CNA training, or some experience working with people with developmental disabilities. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Must be able to meet the HealthCare Worker Background Check requirements, must have clear and valid IL Drivers License for at least 1year. Ability to climb, kneel, lift 75 lbs., carry 50 lbs., and walk 1mile. Positive and up-beat personality is a must. All employees are required upon hire to provide a Motor Vehicle Report obtained from the Secretary of State. Must be at least 18 years of age; be flexible and able to adapt to meet the unique needs of each individual.
