Energetic, outgoing person needed to work in an office environment engaging seniors, age 60+ in activities that enhance their physical, emotional and mental well-being. The perfect candidate will have prior work experience with the senior population in an activity setting, be comfortable working with Microsoft office, and enjoy a fast-paced work environment. This position has a lot of interface with the senior provider network in McHenry County, and requires business to business and business to community marketing to maintain the current program and support continued growth in the Senior activity program. Duties include maintaining a professional office environment, and organizing and working with an established network of volunteers. College/Associates degree in Parks and Recreation or Therapeutic Recreation preferred. Prior work experience with seniors is a must!
