Anshe Emet Synagogue in Lakeview is currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced individual to provide support to the synagogue offices and to the Executive Director. This is a temporary position which we hope to fill by July 1st and would last through Thanksgiving. The person who succeeds in this position will be considered for any permanent positions as and if they arise.
Assist Executive Director and Chief Engineer with administrative tasks and project management
Telephone and direct communication with synagogue leadership and members
Organize and coordinate all Board and Officer meetings and events, including scheduling, reminders, management of minutes and documentation
Provide administrative support on-site during the High Holy Days during September and October
Assist with special projects
Desired Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with three or more years of administrative experience, executive assistant experience preferred
Proficiency with Office Suite (especially Excel, Word, and Publisher)
Excellent customer service skills
Well organized with high level of attention to detail, efficiency and demonstrated ability to effectively produce accurate work
Positive, professional attitude and presence
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information
