Near North Health Service Corporation's registered nurses (RN) are responsible for the planning, coordinating and evaluation of health care services in a specific clinical area. Provides direct patient care.
They will follow role assignments that are in alignment with the Patient Centered Medical Home Standards, and participate in all Patient Centered Medical Home efforts.
Assist in planning competency-based orientation and competency re-fresher courses for nursing staff.
May assist with proposing staff development programs based upon staff needs.
May assist with supervising LPN’s, medical/or nursing assistants) and Clerk Receptionist.
May assist in developing a patient education plan for the clinical area.
Ensure Quality Improvement measures, such as, chart review, staff conferences and case conferences are met.
Participates in community health education and public awareness activities.
Triages patients following established protocols.
Participates in patient care committees.
Maintains and promotes customer relations standards.
Other related duties.
Current Illinois RN license and CPR.
