Social Services Behavioral Health Techs will earn up to $12/hour.
Social Services Behavioral Health Tech primary responsibilities: • teach, assist, direct and mentor disabled individuals in proper housekeeping, personal hygiene, grooming, budgeting, shopping, community interaction and other daily living skills • plan, implement and coordinate health promotion strategies through health and wellness programs • monitor and assess behavioral situations; apply crisis management techniques as necessary • promote achievement of treatment plan, behavior plan or vision recovery goals • report potential infections, accidents and unsafe conditions to supervisor • may plan and prepare well-balanced and diet-appropriate food menus • document activities/ situations and complete various paperwork • enter information into computer
Social Services Behavioral Health Tech MUST be at least 21 years old and have Experience/ Training/ Education in at least one of the following areas: • Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant • Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in a Behavior Health field • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 1 year full time Behavioral Health work experience • Associate's Degree and minimum 2 years full time Behavioral Health work experience • High School Diploma and 18 credit hours completed within a 4 year period of post high school education in a Behavioral Health Field, plus 2 years full time Behavioral Health work experience • Licensed Practical Nurse LPN (ARS Title 32, Chapter 15) and minimum 2 years full time Behavioral Health work experience
