The Adler Planetarium is seeking a Decision Support Analyst to join our dynamic team located on Chicago's Museum Campus. We’re building our information technology team, with an amazing opportunity to go beyond “fix my computer” and deliver game-changing services and solutions to Adler’s staff and guests. The Decision Support Analyst is responsible for data management, analysis, and reporting in support of Adler strategy and operations. This is a new position as we develop a data culture and supporting technology environment. Responsibilities include assisting in determining recurring and ad hoc reporting needs, preparing data, conducting statistical analysis, and delivering reports to Adler leadership. This position also works with system owners to collect data for analysis and ensure data quality.
You’re excited by the opportunity to build a new organizational capability in data analysis and make an impact on how we use information to make decisions and assess our outcomes.
You’re curious about how the institution and its units work, and want to figure out systematic ways for us to understand our operations and reduce repetitive manual effort.
You have experience with collecting, verifying, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting data using tools like R and python.
You want to not only create accurate data tables, but also deliver articulate, contextualized reports.

Data extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes and systems

$55,000-60,000 annual salary
