The team leader position is responsible for providing quality and efficient customer service to the people we support, their families, and community through the daily management of a diversified team of RGA professionals. Duties include recruiting, scheduling, motivating, recognizing and rewarding, coaching, counseling, training, and problem solving. The position is responsible for the efficient, safe and smooth operation of the home for people we support. Additionally, the team manager must ensure at all times that team members are keeping the people we support’s needs, health, safety, security and dreams at the forefront of every action and decision.
HS Diploma or GED; prefer an individual w/ CNA training. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Must be able to meet the HealthCare Worker Background Check requirements and have valid IL Driver’s License. Must be able to lift and transfer individuals (75 lbs.). Employee must meet the requirements to drive a PACE vehicle if location requires it. Positive and up-beat personality is a must. All employees are required upon hire to provide a Motor Vehicle Report obtained from the Secretary of State, Must be at least 21 years of age. Must pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen.
