Assists adults with intellectual disabilities and mental health needs with independent daily living skills.
Establishes treatment programs by setting schedules and routines.
Coordinates services being provided including transportation and recreation.
Maintains client records by documenting progress and logging events.
Assists clients with basic housekeeping within a group home setting.
1 year paid experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities required.
High School Diploma or GED.
Valid IL Driver's license and auto insurance required.
Shift: Hours vary depending on group home. Sample schedule is: - Sunday morning till Wednesday morning (off hours 9 am-2:30 pm) with overnight sleep shift. Also includes every other Saturday night. OR Wednesday through Saturday 8pm-9am with overnight sleep shift come back at 2:30pm-9am and Saturday entire day.
